Axopar’s fully electric AX/E 22 has been named one of the finalists in the 2025 Gustave Trouvé Awards – known as The Gussies – in the category Production Electric Boats: Up to 8 metres / 26 feet.

Established in 2020, The Gussies recognize the inventors, designers, and manufacturers advancing clean, quiet, zero-emission technologies and innovations that reduce reliance on fossil fuels in marine propulsion. Named after French inventor Gustave Trouvé, creator of the world’s first outboard motor, the awards have grown into the world’s leading recognition for electric boats.

This year, 122 boats from around the globe were nominated across nine categories, with finalists selected by an international judging panel representing major electric boat associations and organizations. The AX/E 22 impressed with its combination of elegance, performance, and sustainability. Powered by the 120+ HP Evoy Breeze motor, it delivers instant torque and silent acceleration up to 36 knots, while its twin-stepped V-hull ensures efficiency and agile handling in all conditions.

Public voting is now open, allowing boating enthusiasts worldwide to take part in selecting the winners. The final results will be determined by a combination of public votes (25%) and the International Judging Panel (75%).

Voting closes on November 16, 2025, and the winners will be announced on November 19, 2025. To cast your vote and support the AX/E 22, visit The Gussies voting page.
