Your Role as Project Manager, ERP and Business Systems
As part of Axopar’s IT team, you will combine technical understanding, project leadership, and business process expertise to drive Axopar’s core business systems forward.
You will lead ERP and business system initiatives end-to-end—from requirements definition to rollout—ensuring our systems landscape is reliable, scalable, and closely aligned with business needs. Working in a fast-growing, international environment, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across functions and with external partners to turn business requirements into well-functioning solutions. You will utilize your strong expertise in:
Business systems design, development, and lifecycle management
- Business systems design, development, and lifecycle management
- Business process modeling and optimisation
- Systems integration and data flows
- Change & release management
- Incident, support, and continuous improvement frameworks
The IT team at Axopar consists of four members with diverse skills and experience. In this small group, members support one another as needed. Working together with external vendors, the team delivers different development projects and provides essential services. We work in a hybrid model that balances flexibility with close collaboration. The office is in Salmisaari, Helsinki, reached by good commuting connections. The Project Manager, ERP and Business Systems reports to the Head of IT.
Your main responsibilities
- Manage ERP and business systems development, enhancements and lifecycle
- Oversee change requests, backlog, releases, and development tasks
- Align business needs with system capabilities and ensure process consistency
- Lead IT & business projects from planning to deployment
- Own and manage the requirements pipeline, including prioritization with stakeholders
- Manage incident handling and user support
- Maintain documentation and handle communication
- Master data management
What we’re looking for
- Proven systems management experience and relevant degree
- Previous hand-on experience implementing and managing ERP systems
- Project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Previous experience working in an international environment
- Proven ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with reporting and data warehouse tools
- Hands-on entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, and a true team player with a growth-oriented attitude
- Quick to adapt new tools and challenges in AI era
- Fluency in English (our company language); proficiency in Finnish is a plus.
