Axopar Boats—Europe’s fastest growing adventure boat brand—is looking for a Quality Tooling & Materials Supply Assurance Engineer to strengthen the team in our production site at Słupsk and support quality component controls for products we design. The person in this position will be responsible for managing the quality assurance process for delivered components and for maintaining and improving the highest quality standards.
Main responsibilities
Managing the process for handling non-conforming components
Analyzing nonconformities and participating in resolving quality issues (8D, RCA, 5Why methods)
Verifying components returned from production and identifying the source of the defect
Handling complaints to suppliers and collaborating with them to implement corrective and preventive actions;
Preparing reports on the quality status of deliveries and components;
Creating and updating quality documentation (instructions, procedures, reports)
Collaborating with suppliers and other departments, including production, procurement, and technical departments;
Required education and skills:
Communicative English proficiency sufficient to communicate via email and phone with foreign suppliers and to understand company materials and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of basic quality tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, PDCA, RCA, SPC)
Ability to read technical documentation and technical drawings
Ability to implement and manage corrective and improvement actions to streamline processes
Strong interpersonal communication skills, analytical thinking, and good work organization
Meticulousness, systematic approach, and attention to detail
Nice to have:
Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of the maritime industry
A technical university degree (e.g., materials engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality management)
