”I have spent more than 45 years internationalizing, developing, and streamlining manufacturing companies across several countries in executive positions within the forest, electronics and vehicle industries with half of my career abroad. My working languages have been French, English, and Swedish.

I began boating at the age of eight with an Optimist dinghy, and over the years I’ve owned a 36-foot sailing yacht and five different motorboats — the largest being 34 feet. The Archipelago Sea and the Swedish coastline are familiar waters to me, as are the French and English coasts. In addition to boating, I’ve also enjoyed competitive kart racing in France and ice racing in Finland.

Today, I live on a farm in Porvoo with my spouse and our dog. Our children, their partners and our three grandchildren visit us often, keeping the place lively year-round.”
