You will work across two companies within the Axopar Group, owning essential HR processes and developing ways to deliver them. If you get excited about AI, smart systems and processes that simply work, read on.
Why Axopar?
We’re not just building boats—we’re creating a movement. As a pioneering force in the world of adventure and luxury boating, Axopar thrives on bold ideas, entrepreneurial energy, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, and we’re not afraid to change how things are done. That’s exactly the mindset we’re looking for in People & Culture.
Location: Gdańsk, with regular travel to Słupsk and occasional trips to Augustów
Your role
This is more than a classic HR operations role. You will combine hands-on HR operations with a strong focus on developing smarter ways of working. You will develop our HR system and learning platform, digitalise processes, introduce e-signatures and bring AI into everyday HR work.
You will also own key recurring HR processes, including time management, employee administration and monthly payroll coordination with external providers, ensuring they run accurately, reliably and on time. You’ll understand how a process works end to end, see how it could work better and then make it happen across both companies.
What you’ll do
Develop and get the most out of our HR system and our learning platform, from configuration to new features and user adoption
Digitalise and automate HR adminostration and payroll processes, reducing paperwork and manual work
Identify and implement practical AI solutions that improve HR service, reporting and everyday workflows.
Map, redesign and harmonise HR processes across both companies
Introduce and roll out e-signatures for hiring and employee lifecycle processes, integrating them into HR workflows to improve efficiency and the employee experience.
Own HR projects end to end, from idea and business case to rollout and training
Own and coordinate monthly payroll and time management processes and systems with our external providers and keep HR data accurate and secure
Turn HR data into reports and dashboards that support decisions
Support the full employee journey, from onboarding to offboarding
Provide practical HR guidance to managers and employees, working closely with local HR colleagues and the Group People & Culture team.
What you bring
Solid experience in HR operations, such as employee lifecycle processes, HR systems or HR projects
Good knowledge of Polish labour law
Experience with HR admin and payroll processes
Experience with time and attendance processes and systems, and an understanding of how they connect to payroll
A tech-driven mindset: you enjoy working with systems and quickly learn new tools
Hands-on experience with HRIS and ideally LMS platforms, including configuration or implementation
Practical use of AI tools in your work (eg Copilot, Claude), plus experience with automation or Power BI as a big plus
Strong process thinking: you understand how things connect and where they can be improved
Independence and initiative: you propose improvements and drive them without waiting to be asked
A strong appetite for learning and fast development
Readiness to travel between our sites
Fluent Polish and English
What we offer
A role where you take ownership of core HR operations and shape how they evolve through digitalisation and AI
Intensive development through internal and external training and free language learning
Work across two companies in a fast-growing international Group
Private medical care and group life insurance, largely covered by Axopar
Subsidised lunch and fresh fruit in the office
An extra day off on your birthday
Commuting allowance
Flexible working hours. Our Working Together guidelines emphasise an on-site-first approach, while supporting flexibility with hybrid work
Company motorboats and e-bikes to enjoy in the season
