Axopar continues to develop its onboard experience by refining the helm environment across selected models. Built on the Simrad NSS® 4 multifunction display platform and combined with the reimagined Axopar User Interface, the result is a faster, more intuitive and more connected system, designed around how people actually use their boats.

At the helm, clarity and control are essential. The latest generation of Simrad NSS® 4 displays delivers a highly responsive and seamless user experience, powered by a high-performance 8-core processor that enables significantly faster page transitions, smoother navigation and improved auto-routing. The system responds instantly to input, allowing the driver to stay focused on the surroundings rather than the interface.
The display system combines touch, rotary dial and keypad controls, ensuring consistent and reliable operation in all conditions. Whether navigating at speed, maneuvering in confined spaces or adjusting settings underway, the interface remains predictable and easy to use.
The visual design has also been refined, with a clean, glass-to-edge display that integrates naturally into the helm. Together with the updated Axopar User Interface, all key information — from navigation and engine data to onboard systems — is presented in one clear and structured view. This reduces the need to move between different screens and supports a more focused, stress-free driving experience.
“Helm usability is a critical part of the overall boating experience. It’s not just about adding new features, but about how naturally everything works together when you are on the water. With this setup, the system responds quickly, the layout is clear, and the driver can access what they need without distraction. It creates a more confident and enjoyable experience behind the wheel,” says Jan-Ove Lundström, Product Manager at Axopar.
Axopar’s long-term collaboration with Navico Group, parent company of Simrad Yachting, underpins the development of its onboard systems. By combining real-world customer insight with leading marine electronics expertise, the partnership has enabled a more integrated and intuitive helm experience — including the Axopar User Interface, optimized for Simrad® multifunction displays.

Beyond usability and design, the upgraded system also strengthens the overall capability of the boats. The NSS 4® platform offers enhanced integration across navigation, radar, sonar and engine systems, with support for technologies such as dual-channel CHIRP sonar, Active Imaging HD and advanced charting with C-MAP® DISCOVER® X and REVEAL® X. The upgraded system also expands possibilities for fishing and exploration, including the ability to monitor multiple sonar sources simultaneously, while broad compatibility with third-party systems enables a more tailored onboard setup.
“With NSS® 4, we have focused on delivering a faster, more streamlined and more versatile multifunction display, combining powerful processing with an intuitive interface and flexible control options,” says Yasser Nafei, President, Electronic Solutions of Navico Group. “The system is designed to give boaters immediate access to the information they need, with seamless integration across onboard systems and support for a wide range of technologies.”
Extending beyond the helm, the experience is further supported by the Axopar Connect app, developed together with Navico Group and launched in fall 2025 as part of Axopar’s growing digital ecosystem. The app provides access to real-time boat data, trip information and remote monitoring, allowing owners to stay connected to their boat both on and off the water. Together, the onboard interface and mobile app create a more connected and personal boating experience, designed to simplify boating and support long-term ownership.
