The Axopar 22 range has accomplished a rare hat-trick in the boating industry by consecutively winning all the three renowned European independent boating awards, finalizing its hat-trick winning the 2022 Motor Boat Awards.

The first time a boat manufacturer accomplished the hat-trick of these independent triple award victories for the same model consecutively happened in 2016. That time it was for the equally ground-breaking Axopar 28 range, not long after it first launched.

The Best of Boats Award is the biggest award for motorboats in Europe, assuming the number of participating countries, jury members and media.

Best of Boats International 2021 – ‘Best for Beginners’  

On these awards, held in Berlin 11.11, prizes were presented to the best international motorboat innovations in six different categories. A jury of 16 international maritime journalists from different boat magazines have thoroughly examined and tested boats with a focus on the boater's perspective. Despite the challenging conditions due to the pandemic, the BOB jury tested over 250 tested boats during 2021.

Axopar's modern design, excellent driving characteristics and many layout options as well as the pre-equipped Axopar x Jobe model were some of the characteristics the jury highlighted when they presented Axopar 22 Spyder as the winner in the category 'Best for Beginners'.

European Powerboat of the Year 2022 – ‘Up to 8m’  

This highly acknowledged powerboat award has long been recognised as one of the most respected and influential of their kind. Traditionally, the awards are presented live at the Düsseldorf Boat Show, but for the second year in a row, the ceremony has been held virtually.

Important aspects for the jury when selecting the winner in this category are safety, ease of handling and of course sailing fun along with a good price to performance ratio. Another important aspect for the jury members is the simple and easy transport on the road. The Axopar 22 T-Top clearly met the expectations to satisfy the jury, who were looking for innovation and features worthy of such an important category winner.

The "Oscars of watersports“ is awarded to the best five boats sold in Europe, in five different size categories. The contestants of the 'up to 8 meters' category, where the Axopar 22 T-Top was nominated, are considered entry-level boats.
