An Adventure Day Away in Fragrant Harbour
Just outside South Beach Bay, in Repulse Bay, Hong Kong, seven Axopar vessels are preparing for what is going to be an unforgettable day out by the sea. The boats, carrying some 70 Axoparians on board are setting course for Mong Tung Wan on Southern Lantau island for Simpson Marine’s first, but definitely not last, ’Axopar Adventure Day’. With an archipelago consisting of over 250 islands, the world of lush green islands surrounding Hong Kong offers a completely different perspective on Hong Kong.
The destination, Mong Tung Wan, was the set for an action movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 1990s, but today, it’s a site for Axoparians to meet up, share stories, and make new friends, all tied together by a love for boating and adventure.
On site, the Axoparian entourage was greeted with a barbecue lunch and light refreshments on the boho-styled terrace, while one of Hong Kong’s most hyped DJs, and friend of Simpson Marine, Jessie Li, took care of setting the ambiance with her tracks. This hearty meal was indeed necessary to prepare them for the activity-filled day ahead.

The entourage then kicked things off at the Fitness Station, where a personal trainer led a workout focusing on functional fitness, especially tailored for adventurers. Then it was time to unwind with lululemon’s breezy beach yoga sessions, with the turquoise waters as a backdrop.
Don’t worry. The Axopar Adventure Day did, of course, also include The Adventure Collection, as Simpson Marine had made sure to bring kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. The entourage also got to indulge in the world of e-foiling. Ashore, the vibe stayed lively with a spirited cornhole competition. To top it all off, everyone got pampered with luxurious organic skincare, the perfect refreshment after a sun-soaked escapade.

Given the success of this event and the positive feedback Simpson Marine received, they are excited to plan more Adventure Cruises in the future and to create more memorable experiences for the community of Axoparians in the region.
Participants were delighted and pleasantly surprised by the fun they had. Many expressed their pleasure with the choice of venue, a hidden gem in Hong Kong, and appreciated the well-organised activities. Many asked for similar events designed for Axoparians so they could connect often and use their Axopar boats for more adventures.
